To restore a Truecaller backup, users need to open the Truecaller app, tap on the three dots in the top-right corner, select 'Settings', and then select 'Restore Backup'.

The restoring process is rather straightforward, as soon as users fire up Truecaller on a new phone, the app will push a prompt asking whether if they would like to restore an earlier backup.
