Logic Pro users can convert a folder stack to a summing stack while preserving the effects added to it by recreating another summing stack, moving all the sounds there, and changing their corresponding output bus in order to route them to the summing stack.

The user can then copy the effects from the old stack to the new one.

To create a Track Stack, select all the tracks you want to put into a Stack, then right-click and select Create Track Stack.
