ACT has been providing automatically calculated ACT Superscores to students who have taken the ACT more than once from September 2016 to current day.

This is in addition to the composite score students get for each ACT test they take individually.

ACT encourages colleges and universities to consider adding superscoring to their score-use policy because superscores are just as predictive – if not more predictive – of first-year grades than other scoring methods.
