Summary

A biosecurity instrument permit is required for people who live or operate in certain areas to move materials that can carry fire ants directly to waste facilities without applying for a permit. 1 Additionally, a biosecurity instrument permit is needed to move something if it may create a biosecurity risk and is not allowed by a Movement Control Order or the Biosecurity Regulation 2016. 2
